Heads up, motorists! There will be some temporary traffic changes at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

The New NAIA Infra Corp. announced that it is temporarily closing the inner departure lanes from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. from July 15 to Aug. 14, 2026.

Passenger drop-offs will continue through the remaining lanes.

In case of traffic build-up, departing passengers may be dropped off at Arrival Bays 1 and 8. They may use the nearest elevators to reach check-in counters.

There will be traffic marshals and directional signs in place to assist motorists and passengers.

If you're traveling through Terminal 3, make sure to allow additional travel time.

The temporary lane closure is implemented as upgrades are being done to the departure curbside. NNIC is building a new canopy to provide passengers with better shelter from rain and heat when they're dropped off.

"Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue improving your airport experience," it said.

Apart from this, NAIA announced earlier in June that it is opening more restaurants and cafés at Terminal 3, including Cibo, Conti's, Baby Crosta, Ramen Nagi, Wildflour, Ladurée, Love A Bowl, and BHC Chicken.

A 350-square-meter Starbucks Reserve, meanwhile, is opening on the domestic side in July.
