Craving French cuisine? We know just the right place for you to go this weekend.

The French food festival "Goût de France" is taking over Paseo De Roxas Avenue in Makati this weekend. Indulge in an array of French delicacies on May 24, from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., and on May 25, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Presented by Makati Street Meet and hosted by the Embassy of France in the Philippines, this festival is taking you on a French gastronomic trip, showcasing the "rich flavors, traditions, and charm of France right to the heart of Makati."

What to expect

If you're into all things French—from crêpes and waffles to buttery croissants, wines, gelatos, and coffee—you might want to check this festival out.

You'll find a fantastic array of merchants lining Paseo De Roxas. For quick and tasty bites, look for vendors like Oui Tacos, Araro Gelato, 2nd Street Oysters, Le Flan Manila (offering authentic French flans with a Filipino twist), and Crepe Glazik.

For those in the mood for a more sophisticated food and drink experience, be sure to check out Lemmy's Bistro, Perfect Cellars, and Handelaar Wines, among others. While you indulge, DJ JB Bolaños will be there to provide the music.

But if you want to learn more about French cuisine, catch an exclusive culinary demonstration by Chef Marc Chalopin, the executive chef of École Ducasse Manila at Enderun Colleges, on May 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ayala Triangle Gardens (Paseo de Roxas side).

On May 25 at 3 p.m., there will also be the famous French tradition, Course des garçons de café, or Waiter’s Race. Watch as café servers compete to see who can swiftly deliver a tray of cold Evian water without a spill!

The event is free and open to everyone.
