Xian Lim, Gabbi Garcia to host Miss Universe Philippines 2025
More details are being unveiled for the highly anticipated Miss Universe Philippines 2025.
On its social media pages, the local pageant announced that Xian Lim and Gabbi Garcia would join forces to host this year's MUPH.
"PILIPINAS, the popular and gifted Gabbi Garcia is returning as one of the hosts of this edition of The Coronation!" the announcement read.
"UNIVERSE, meet your host for The Coronation, the dashing XIAN LIM!" a separate post also said.
This is the second time that the Garcia will be hosting MUPH. She hosted the 2024 edition alongside Alden Richards, Tim Yap, Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, and Jeannie Mai.
MUPH 2025 will be held on May 2, 6 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, where Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and the first-ever Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo will crown her successor.
Meanwhile, the preliminary competition is set for Monday, April 28, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Ticket prices range from P1000 (Silver) to P2500 (SVIP).
This year's local tilt sees a few pageant veterans gracing the stage again, including Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Marie Aduana (Siniloan, Laguna), Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen "Winwyn" Marquez (Muntinlupa City), and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 second runner-up and Miss International 2018 first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo (Quezon Province).
Also in the mix are Miss Globe 2022 semi-finalist Chelsea Fernandez (Sultan Kudarat) and Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 fifth runner-up Katrina Llegado (Taguig City).
