Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and if there’s anyone who deserves a full day of love and appreciation, it’s mom.
This year, why not go beyond the usual flowers and greeting cards and treat her to something a little more special?
Different spots are now rolling out special events and activities designed to give moms the pampering they deserve. If you’re ready to ditch the usual and do something a little more memorable, here’s a list of Mother’s Day events and activities to explore:
Robinsons Galleria's Thank you, Mom celebrations
Robinsons Galleria has prepared a variety of fun surprises and feel-good activities to make mom feel extra loved.
On May 9, parents can look forward to insights and activities from Smart Parenting, while movie-loving moms can enjoy special screenings during the Moms Movie Treats happening from May 9 to 10.
Fur moms aren’t left out either, with a Pet Meet Up scheduled on May 30 for a fun day out with their beloved companions.
Araneta City's Her MOMents celebrations
You can also bring your mom to Araneta City where a bunch of special activities await.
On May 7 to 10, Gateway Mall 1 will be holding a Well Mama Expo with wellness services and flower selling. New moms can meanwhile sign up for Tiny Hands & Mommy Expo on May 8 to 10 to get their hands on products for early motherhood needs.
Shoppers can also check out the Mother’s Day Market at Ali Mall from May 8 to 10, while food-loving moms can head over to Farmers Plaza on May 10 to watch the Kitchen Queens cooking show.
There will also be an Aloha Dance Festival at Ali Mall as well as a fun run for moms at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on May 10.
Komunidad Philippines' Love in Full Bloom
Flowers, family, and a whole lot of exciting moments will take place at Burgos Park in Forbes Town as Komunidad Philippines is organizing a fun event dedicated to moms.
The weekend celebration will not only feature curated finds for fashion, lifestyle, home, and more, but it will also gather delicious bites from your favorite Forbes Town spots and serenade you with live music.
There will also be a free crochet session and a giveaway with exciting prices.
The event will happen on May 8 to 10.
Gourmet Manila Restaurant & Events Mother's Day Feast
Good food tastes better when shared with mom, and Gourmet Manila Restaurant is serving exactly that this Mother’s Day.
On May 10, the Marikina restaurant is rolling out a full-day feast complete with breakfast, lunch, and dinner seatings, plus live music to set the mood for a warm and memorable celebration.
Their breakfast buffet will take place from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and costs P389 for adults and P195 for kids aged four to six. The seating is free for three years old and below.
Their lunch will happen from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. while dinner is at 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Seating is at P699 for adults and P350 for kids.
Gourmet Manila Restaurant & Events is located at 3 Mt. Kennedy St., San Roque, Marikina City.
Pycasso Paint & Sip Studio
For those who want to put a creative spin to their Mother's Day surprise, you can bring mom to Marcelina’s Cafe Bar in Antipolo, Rizal for a painting session hosted by Pycasso Paint & Sip Studio.
The experience lets guests and their moms unwind with a guided art activity while enjoying good food and drinks in a cozy café setting.
And to top it off, you'll also receive a souvenir photo to cherish the memory of this special day.
The session will take place on May 10 in three batches: Batch 1 is from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Batch 2 is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Batch 3 is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The painting session is priced at P2,499.
Doodle with Mom at Flying Tiger
Make your mom a cute portrait when you visit any Flying Tiger store. From May 8 to 10, visit any branch and purchase select personal care items to join the "Doodle Your Mom" activity. Art materials will be provided in a dedicated in-store space where children can sketch portraits for their moms and mother figures.
Youth Empowerment Community Organization's Kalinga
Youth Empowerment Community Organization is calling on moms to join them for "Kalinga: In Celebration of Mother’s Day 2026" as we honor every mother’s unconditional love through fun, laughter, and appreciation.
Join them on May 10 at 8 a.m. at the Block 1 Half Court (Westbank Road) in Maybunga, Pasig for a morning of fun. They will be hosting games, a boodle fight, and handing out special gifts for all the moms.
Expo Mom Manila's Always in Tune
Expo Mom Manila returns to the Shangri-La Plaza Mall Atrium with its 2026 theme, “Always in Tune” this May 8 to 10.
Since its launch in 2008, Expo Mom has consistently provided parents of all ages a dedicated space to connect, learn from experts, and support mom-founded businesses like Style Ana, Piña Couture, Hello Fox, and Baby Dove.

Rural Rising's Rooted in Mother's Love
Rural Rising's "Rooted in Mother's Love" is a celebration of the women who raised us and a nod to the farmers who sustain us.
This May 8 to 10 at the Met L!ve and Blue Bay Walk in Pasay City, Rural Rising' will be hosting a gathering where guests can go around and shop from the Farmer's Market, join a community run, join a farm-to-table cooking experience, and meet a group of growers from Kabayan, Benguet.
