LIST: Performers, hosts at Miss World Philippines 2024 coronation night
The Miss World Philippines 2024 coronation night is right around the corner!
The upcoming pageant is set to crown the successor of Gwelndolyne Fourniol on July 19 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Earlier in May, the 35 official candidates vying for the crown were announced, with pageant veterans and cross-over queens from Miss Universe Philipines among the delegates.
In addition to the Miss World Philippines title, two candidates will be hailed Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Philippines and Miss Tourism Philippines.
Previously, the pageant organizers announced Billy Crawford and Universal Woman 2024 Maria Gigante as the coronation night's hosts.
The Juans were also said to be serenading the crowd and beauty queens on finals night.
In the past few days, MWP shared more performers and hosts that will grace its stage on July 19. Here's a look at who to expect at the show.
Manila Philharmonic Orchestra
In its post, MWP said: "The Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, known for their exceptional artistry and musical excellence, will bring a touch of grandeur to our event. Their captivating performances and rich orchestral sounds have mesmerized audiences nationwide."
Johnoy Danao
Indie singer Johnoy Danao, known for his acoustic performances, will also serenade the MWP crowd on July 19. He's best known for his songs Ikaw At Ako, Ang Panata, Right Time, Buntong-Hininga, and Suntok Sa Buwan.
KAIA
Filipino girl group KAIA is set to take the coronation night stage. The five-member girl group, composed of Charice, Angela, Alexa, Sophia, and Charlotte, is known for their tracks YOU DID IT, Dalawa, TURN UP, and 5678.
BILIB
BILIB, a P-Pop boy group under AQ Prime Music, will also dazzle with their performances. With songs Kabanata and SAY WATCHA WANNA SAY, this seven-member group consists of Yukito, Zio, Jmac, RC, Clyde, Carlo, and Rafael.
Emmanuelle Vera and Teejay Marquez
Meanwhile, as anchor hosts, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021 Emmanuelle Vera and actor Teejay Marquez join this year's lineup.
Miss World Organization CEO and Chair Julia Morley and Miss World 2024 Krystyna Pyszkova will also arrive in the Philippines for the pageant.
