PNP chief Sinas loses 20 kilos, wants to show off weight loss to media
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Debold Sinas said he lost 20 killos of body weight after following a strict diet and exercise routine.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News Channel's “Headstart” with Karen Davila on Thurs. Dec 3, Sinas said the weight loss is the result of a “four month program.”
"Healthy living and bawas ng inom tapos sleep well," Sinas added.
He also said he consulted with a doctor to help him lose weight
Sinas noted that he wanted to do the interview with Davila “face-to-face” so he can personally show the result of his weight loss program.
“Gusto ko face-to-face para iyong picture nating dalawa na before and after para makita mong nangayayat at kung sino nangayayat,” he told Davila.
However, Davila said they went through with the interview remotely instead due to health protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last week, Sinas said he is reviving a PNP program monitoring the body mass index of officers. The program was previously stalled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is after a video of Sinas leading a four-minute workout routine to the tune of the Voltes-V theme went viral earlier last month, during his first day as the PNP chief.
