After getting wind of news that she helped Mayonnaise frontman Monty Macalino overcome depression, Blackpink's Rosé has now reportedly listened to the band's song.
For the past few days, Mayonnaise has been getting mileage from the Korean press after PhilSTAR L!fe's feature story came out about Macalino, where he talked about how listening to Blackpink helped him overcome depression. He also talked about how Rosé served as his muse, leading him to even write a song, titled in Hangul referring to Rosé's Korean name, dedicated to her.
You can check that story in the widget down below.
After the story went around, Allkpop.com and Koreaboo.com put out a story about Macalino.
Another Korean website also came out with a story entirely written in hangul.
Then today Jan. 8, news came out from fans on Twitter that Rosé mentioned listening to Mayonnaise in a live video chat.

Another Twitter user also tipped Macalino that Rosé indeed mentioned that she listened to the Mayonnaise song, purportedly the one dedicated to her.
Macalino, when we reached him for comment about the whirlwind turn of events, admits he was stunned and over the moon at how things developed.
"Overwhelming," Macalino said, describing how he has been feeling for the past few days after being covered by the Korean press. "The fact na umabot sa Korean news sites grabe. Music is indeed amazing."
Macalino said he is even more amazed at reports that her muse listened to his song.
"Still in shock that it reached her honestly. I don’t know what to say," said Macalino.
If he could so drop a message to Rosé, Macalino he just hopes that she and Blackpink will continue to inspire more people.
"Patuloy lang sa pag-inspire sa mga tao tulad ng nagawa niyo sa akin (Keep on inspiring others just like what you have done for me)," he added.
