Local celebrities took to social media to pay their respects to former president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, who passed away on Thursday morning, June 24.

It was earlier reported that Aquino was brought to Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City for an undisclosed reason.

Maraming Salamat.”

In an Instagram post, TV host Korina Sanchez thanked Aquino for his friendship and his “service for our country.”
