Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, The Philippine STAR, and PhilSTAR Life rally women to move with ‘Do It, Lady!’

In honor of Women’s Month, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, in partnership with The Philippine STAR, PhilSTAR L!fe and Joyful Wellness champions strength in motion with “Do It, Lady!”—a month-long celebration that empowers women to take charge of their well-being through active lifestyle events and immersive fitness experiences.

Set to launch on March 6, at 1 p.m. at the Eastwood Mall Atrium, the initiative frames physical activity as a form of personal power. By opening doors to a variety of wellness spaces across its townships, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls encourages women to embrace their strength, move with confidence, and lead lives fueled by energy, grit, and courage.

A movement that begins with action

“Do It, Lady!” places women’s active participation at the center of this year’s Women’s Month celebrations, transforming mall spaces into hubs of movement and inviting women of all fitness levels to explore new workouts and discover supportive communities.

The March 6 launch event will bring together a group of women founders and fitness leaders who embody the initiative’s message and purpose. Among them is Coach Tess Nocyao, a gold medalist at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games and official coach of the Uptown Bonifacio Run Club, where she guides runners through structured weekly sessions.

Also joining the roster is entrepreneur and mother Kris Sy, co-founder, CEO, and instructor of Electric Studio, who left a corporate banking career in New York to grow a cycling community grounded in empowerment and shared momentum.

Fatima Abdulkadil, founder of Reformer Revolution, contributes her expertise in Pilates, shaping a space centered on purposeful movement and transformation through a sense of belonging.

Channeling strength through boxing, Bea Mendoza, co-owner of Flyweight Boxing Studio, energizes her community with technical drills and heavy bag sessions that build muscle and boost confidence.

In the world of dance, Milai Tamayo Imperial (Direk Milai), president, CEO, and artistic director of Imperial Dance Studio PH, draws on her professional performance background to champion movement as both a form of fitness and self-expression.

Rounding out the group is Charm Tan of Stuff’d PH, who highlights another pillar of well-being—nourishment—proving that strength is sustained not only in studios and gyms, but at the table as well.

A fitness playground

The official kickoff will feature a “playground” segment where guests can sample different workouts in one venue. Partner communities will offer interactive sessions, including resistance bands and half-ball exercises from Anytime Fitness, kettlebell training from URC Gym, and dynamic classes such as Step N’ Groove and Airbound from Surge Lifestyle.

The launch serves as both a preview and a rallying call, encouraging women to show up, move boldly, and redefine what strength looks like in their own lives.

A month-long fitness journey across Megaworld destinations

The launch marks the start of a month-long journey through Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ wellness hubs, where women can explore a variety of fitness experiences and discover new ways to move and thrive. With a mix of fitness studios, open spaces, and interactive classes, these hubs invite women and the wider community to enjoy and embrace an active lifestyle.

Empowerment in motion

Through its collaboration with The Philippine STAR, PhilSTAR L!fe, and Joyful Wellness, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls continues its Women’s Month tradition of spotlighting women who lead and uplift communities.

“Do It, Lady!” reframes physical activity as a pathway to self-empowerment, encouraging women to carve out time for themselves, embrace challenges, and build confidence through movement.

As the celebration unfolds beginning March 6, women are invited to participate, explore, and take command of their own wellness journeys. Because empowerment, this March, starts with a decision: Do it.
