Makati Medical Center named one of the World’s Best Hospitals for 2026

Makati Medical Center has earned a place among the Top 250 World’s Best Hospitals for 2026, as ranked by Newsweek in partnership with Statista. MakatiMed is one of only two hospitals from the Philippines to be included in the prestigious global list.
The World’s Best Hospitals ranking evaluated more than 2,500 hospitals worldwide across 32 countries. Hospitals were assessed based on medical expert recommendations, hospital quality metrics, patient experience data, and Patient-Reported Outcome Measures, which reflect patients’ perceptions of their well-being and quality of life.
The 2026 ranking marked the first time the Philippines was included in the global evaluation, making MakatiMed’s recognition a significant milestone for the institution and for Philippine healthcare.
This achievement highlights MakatiMed’s continued commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and adherence to international standards, reinforcing its reputation as one of the country’s leading hospitals and a trusted healthcare institution on the global stage.
