Content creator stabbed during livestream • PhilSTAR Life

A content creator and salon owner in Camiguin got stabbed while he was livestreaming on Facebook.

According to a report by GMA's 24 Oras, the victim was stabbed by a man during his FB Live inside his own salon in Purok 2, Barangay Yumbing, Mambajao town Sunday evening, Dec. 14.

It was a barber who wrestled with the suspect to stop the attack.

In the latter part of the live broadcast, the victim can be seen trying to stop the bleeding on his neck after the incident.

"Nag-aaway sila through online posting," Police Major Joann Navarro, Police Regional Office 10 spokesperson said. "Medyo matagal-tagal na siguro nakapagsumbong ang kalaban ng biktima sa suspek."

Per the news outlet, the suspect—whose live-in partner is said to have a dispute with the victim—has been arrested.

The victim is now in stable condition.

The suspect will be slapped with charges of frustrated murder.
