Globe Telecom, J&T Express Philippines form strategic alliance to redefine courier solutions and elevate customer experience

Globe Telecom and J&T Express Philippines have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at optimizing logistics operations and improving customer experience across the country. The agreement, signed at the Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, on April 3, marks a significant step toward hassle-free and reliable deliveries.

The collaboration leverages Globe's technological innovations and J&T Express’ logistics expertise to streamline the entire delivery process. With over 60,000 service personnel, 3,000 delivery vehicles, and 2,500 branches nationwide, J&T Express will manage first-mile to last-mile delivery for Globe's nationwide distribution directly from their warehouses. With Globe being the pioneer in providing digital solutions, this partnership means that it will be easy for Globe to reach more customers nationwide and in a more timely manner.

Representing Globe at the signing ceremony were Walter Ricarte, senior vice president for Finance Business Advisory and Operations; Jerry Cabiles, vice president for Procurement and Logistics; and Maria Celia Rodriguez, director for Logistics Management. J&T Express Philippines was represented by Vice President Zoe Chi, HQ Sales and Marketing Manager Isaac Nuque, and NCR Regional Key Account Manager Mary Andaya.

A partnership built on connectivity

Speaking on behalf of Globe, Ricarte highlighted the significance of having a partner with strong nationwide coverage. “We partnered with J&T Express Philippines given [their] expansive presence across the country, which aligns with our requirement to be able to deliver our products and services to every corner of the country," Ricarte said. "These days, connectivity is a basic necessity. It is, thus, critical for us to have the right partner in ensuring that we deliver this to our customers, wherever they may be."

"At J&T Express, we recognize the importance of fast, reliable, and secure courier services in today’s evolving digital landscape. This end-to-end approach ensures that every parcel reaches its destination in the most efficient way possible across the country," said Chi during the signing ceremony.

J&T Express Philippines, as a recipient of the Gold Award for Airfreight/Courier Service at the 2024 Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Awards, holds 99 percent coverage of the Philippine market. Andaya emphasized that the partnership strengthens the company’s logistics capabilities, reinforcing its commitment to reliable and high-quality deliveries.

By integrating J&T Express’ nationwide delivery network with Globe’s advanced digital infrastructure, this partnership aims to enhance customer delivery and satisfaction.
