Are The Pig & Palm, ON, and Veja opening in Greenbelt 2?
Are new stores opening at Makati shoppers' favorite Greenbelt mall? A viral post online says that may be the case.
In a thread by Threads user @littlemsprinter, a mall marker showed brands set to open at the famed Greenbelt 2, which included restaurants and shoe stores such as The Pig & Palm, ON, and Veja.
In a text message, The Pig & Palm confirmed to PhilSTAR L!fe that it will have a new branch at the mall: "Yes, that's us! We're excited to share that Pig & Palm will be opening our second branch in Manila, located at Greenbelt 2."
As of writing, neither Ayala Malls, ON, nor Veja have yet to release an update on the development, but the stores are expected to open soon.
The Pig & Palm is a sharing-style restaurant based in Cebu by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton.
Meanwhile, ON is a Swiss brand of running shoes, while Veja is a brand of sneakers and sandals designed in France.
In July, Ayala Malls officially teased the highly anticipated transformation of Greenbelt 2 in Makati.
Following the closure of its ground level in late 2024, the premier lifestyle hub unveiled a fresh, ultra-modern aesthetic alongside lush greenery.
The changes at Greenbelt 2 are part of a bigger plan to refresh four of Ayala’s most popular malls: Greenbelt, Glorietta, TriNoma, and Ayala Center Cebu. The project aims to elevate each destination into a premier hub for world-class shopping, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences.
