Fur parents opted to have their fur babies blessed by a priest at a drive-thru area in Libis on Sunday, Oct. 2.
Aside from the in-person format, the annual event welcomed 300 car guests at the Eastwood Mall Open Park, which was allotted for those who wanted to take part in the affair without mingling with crowds amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Titled Love & Paw-er: Pet Blessing Celebration, a priest blessed the pets with Holy Water to show love and respect to them.
The pet blessing event has been an annual tradition in the Philippines. This year, it took place just two days ahead of World Animal Day and the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi—the patron saint of animals—on Oct. 4.
