Calling all serious cereal lovers: Here are some cereal desserts you’d want to try
They say cereal is an acceptable meal at any time of the day.
Do you agree? Personally, I enjoy having this breakfast item all day long. My love for it has been amplified by Paris Hilton, who recently featured her Frosted Flake French Toast on her new Netflix cooking show Cooking with Paris. The iconic Hollywood star once shared that she even delights in cereal at midnight—and, at that moment, she has become surprisingly relatable somehow!
After watching her make some cereal French toast, I decided to do some digging into food brands offering similar munchies in Manila. Here’s a rundown of the best ones I’ve found online.
Cinnabuan is known for its indulgent cinnamon rolls, including the Cereal Milk Fruity Pebbles (P400/box). It’s made with cream cheese frosting infused overnight with fruity pebble cereal, and then topped with more of the latter for an exciting crunch.
Do you love Froot Loops? You might want to check out Kuro Kuro Croffle’s White Choco Loops. In this offering priced at P85 each, colorful cereals are placed on top of a croffle generously coated in white chocolate.
It’s time to put the spotlight on this Milo Dinosaur Pie (P300/good for 2-4 pax) by Pieceful Pies. Among its delectable features are its Chocolate-French butter pie crust, Milo and Belgian chocolate cream filling, Milo cereal toppings, and Milo powder dust.
Milkrun Desserts’ Cereal Milk Tres Leches Cake is also a must-try. This yummy dessert (P290/P480/P1,350) features the goodness of “moist sponge cake soaked overnight in a special 3-milk mixture topped with a light vanilla whipped cream and a buttery cornflake crunch.”
How about some polvoron? Fill’s unique offering is made with cereal, milk, brown butter, and almonds taking the form of polvoron, which could surprise you with fun textures and sweet flavors.
