8 Simple Happy Hour cocktail recipes to make at home

Do you miss overpriced cocktails from bars? We sure do! But in this new normal, we'd have to brush up our bartending skills and make our own from home especially now that the holidays are coming.

Fortunately, there are plenty of easy cocktails to make that do not require a lot of ingredients. So sit down and relax with one of these lovely libations, including a classic highball, Cuba Libre, orange spritzers, alcoholic slushies and more. Whether your choice of poison is tequila, rum or cognac, you can easily whip up a cool cocktail in minutes with these recipes. They're really basic mixed drinks even for novice drinkers!

Rémy Ginger Highball

Step 1: Pour 45ml Rémy Martin VSOP over large cubed ice.

Step 2: Top with 150ml Fever Tree Ginger Ale.

Step 3: Choose the garnish of your choice – a wedge of lime, orange zest or a cinnamon stick.

Step 1: Combine 30ml Don Papa MassKara, 10ml Grand Marnier, 25ml orange juice, 15ml lime juice, 15ml cinnamon syrup, 1 dash chocolate bitters, crushed ice in a blender, and serve.

Step 1: Put 15ml Calamansi honey on the glass together with 45ml Patrón Silver, stir first to dissolve the Calamansi Honey.

Step 2: Then add ice, stir again then add 90ml Tonic water.

Step 1: Put 50ml Lychee Puree, 15ml Sampaguita Syrup, and 45ml Patrón Silver into glass with ice.

Step 2: Stir until properly mixed and cold, then add 90ml Soda water, stir again.

Step 1: Put 45ml Patrón Silver, 60ml Mango Puree, 15ml Peach Liqueur, and 10ml fresh lime juice into cocktail shaker, then add ice.

Step 2: Shake until the drink is cold then strain into glass with ice.
