Kikkoman, mayo, ketchup: Would you try these ‘weird’ ice cream flavors?

Can’t get enough of condiments? What if they’re turned into ice cream?

In London, there’s a concept store by Anya Hindmarch that offers ice cream and sorbet with a twist. “The household names inspiring our ice creams are typically found in the pantry rather than the freezer,” according to The Ice Cream Project, which shared that the variants include condiments as well as savory sauces, tea, breakfast cereals, and baked beans.

A standout is the Kikkoman Soy Sauce—a “delicious toasted sesame ice cream laced with umami-rich naturally brewed soy sauce.”

There are also Heinz ketchup and mayonnaise flavors that could be a total surprise with their sweet and salty goodness with different kicks.

Worcestershire sauce, anyone? The Lea & Perrins is a “sweet tomato fruit sorbet” featuring a hint of the much-loved sauce.

For those who aren’t that adventurous, the must-tries are the Kellogg’s Frosties, Quaker Rolled Oats, and POLO

While these are only available in London, these are incredible ideas for ice cream lovers who are always looking for something new. Why not make your own take if such “odd” flavors sound good to you?
