Japan's Pizza Studio Tamaki to open in Manila this year
When it comes to food in Japan, the last thing that comes to mind is probably pizza. But a popular pizza place in the country may get you addicted to their specialty as they're set to open their doors in Manila this 2024.
In an Instagram post, Pizza Studio Tamaki in Tokyo announced that they had a successful agreement to establish a local franchise in the Philippines and are planning to bring it to the country in October.
"The first restaurant is 2024 in Manila. We're planning to open October 2024!" the pizzeria wrote.
In case this is your first time hearing about the famous food place in Japan, Pizza Studio Tamaki prides itself in their mouth-watering Neapoliton-style pizza, with its toppings of mozzarella cheese and tomatoes.
While there are no official details about their Philippine menu yet, their website states that you can have your pizza in either two bases: tomato or cheese.
For the tomato base, their flavors include Tamaki, Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, Margherita, Marinara, Olives, Romana, Arrabbiata, and Diavola while the cheese base lets you choose from Nduja, Salami, 5 Formaggi, Cacciatore, Oltrana, Special Bianca, and Bismarck.
Aside from pizzas, Pizza Studio Tamaki also offers a variety of appetizers such as meatballs in tomato sauce, broccoli with garlic flavor, eggplant parmigiana, homemade Japanese beef lasagna, and more.
