Sad news for Filipino ice cream lovers: Baskin-Robbins is shutting down in the Philippines.

The beloved ice cream shop made the announcement on social media on Saturday, Nov. 26, accompanying it with some promos that will run until its closing day.

"It's been an incredible journey over the last 8 years, but unfortunately we will be permanently closing our doors on Dec. 31, 2022," the company said.

Baskin-Robbins Philippines presented some discounts and promos that its customers can enjoy until the end of the year. Among them are a free scoop with any junior/value scoop purchase; Buy 1 Take 1 on all pints, quarts, and half gallons; and a tub (86 scoops) priced at only P3,500.

"Once again, thank you very much for everything. It's been an honor to be of service to all of you," they said.

Baskin-Robbins was founded in 1945. It arrived in the Philippines in 2014, with its first branch situated at the Bonifacio Global City.
