LIST: Black Friday 2022 deals in the Philippines

Here comes Black Friday, considered as one of the busiest shopping days worldwide.

It takes place on the fourth Friday of November (Nov. 25, in this year's case), a day after Thanksgiving in the United States. The day traditonally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season there, as stores try to attract shoppers by offering hard to resist discounts and other promos.

Other shopping holidays also came about following Black Friday's inception, like Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.

But it's not only in the US that we get to shop Black Friday deals; other countries, including the Philippines are starting to observe the popular shopping day.

That being said, here are some of the country's brands participating in the Black Friday sale, from gadgets to cosmetics to fashion!

Samsung

Electronics brand Samsung is offering several discounts on its products, from mobile phones to home appliance.

On its website, Samsung said its Galaxy Z foldable phones are up to P20,000 less, while its Galaxy Z flip phone is P13,000 less.

The Galaxy S21 units, meanwhile, have up to P29,000 less and come with free 10,000mAh 25-watt power bank (Type C).

Its Galaxy S8 tablets also come with free Galaxy A7 lite tablets (gray) upon purchase.

Samsung is also offering a 50% discount on wearables like watches and buds (with cases); and accessories like cases, straps, and silicone rings.

The brand is also offering bundle savings, as well as deals for its smart televisions.

Buyers may also use the "DDAY1000" voucher code to get an additional P1,000 discount from Nov. 27 to 30, Samsung said on its website.

Smeg

Italy-based home appliance brand Smeg is offering up to 15% off on its bean to cup coffee machines, coffee products, toasters, kettles, and refrigerators.

Its stand mixers, meanwhile, have a 20% discount.

Sale runs until Nov. 30.

DataBlitz

Certain PS4 and PS5 titles are on sale at local video game store DataBlitz.

Titles on sale include Final Fantasy VII, God of War, Nier Replicant, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsuhima, and Gran Turismo 7.

Inglot Cosmetics

The local headquarters of Polish-based cosmetics brand Inglot is offering up to 80% off on its products.

The sale is running exclusively on e-commerce platform Lazada.

Inglot Cosmetics said it's entertaining direct messages on the app itself, as well as on Viber at 09666346672.

Sephora

Sephora Philippines, the local retailer of the French personal care brand, has several discounts on the table.

Its website said items are at 15% off, with no minimum spend requirement. There will be 20% off for a minimum purchase of P3,000.

Those who would spend at least P5,000 will also get a free shower speaker, Sephora Philippines said.

Promo runs until Nov. 28.

Puma

Sportswear brand Puma is offering a 40% discount on all of its products online.

Men's jersey are as low as P475, from P990, while a light nylon men's jacket goes down to P11,400, from P19,000.

New Era Cap

The local stores of American headwear New Era Cap are offering 10% off on all items.

Patrons may shop online via the New Era Cap Philippines website, or on e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada.

One may also buy the items on its mall branches,, including SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM City North Edsa, TriNoma, Mitsukoshi BGC, Uptown Mall Fort, and Robinsons Place Ermita.

Uniqlo

The go-to casual wear brand Uniqlo doesn't technically have a Black Friday sale, but is holding a "Thank You" festival to patrons that coincide with the shopping holiday.

Uniqlo said LifeWear pieces and exclusive novelty items will be available on its physical and online stores.

It's also giving away a free set of travel organizers to customers paying at least P3,500 (after discounts and/or coupons) from any participating store, until Nov. 27.

The Thank You festival runs until Dec. 1.
