Five versions of the Philippines' pancit landed in TasteAtlas' 50 best noodle dishes for September. Pancit, pancit canton, pancit bihon, pancit palabok, and pancit lomi were among the top noodle eats in the world.
In the ranking posted by the online food guide on Sept. 13, Thailand's khao soi was crowned the best noodle dish in the world, followed by Japan's tonkotsu, miso, and shoyu ramen.
Other well-known Asian dishes such as dan dan noodles, pho, pad Thai, laksa, and japchae ranked on the list as well. The Philippines' own pancit sat at the 24th best noodle spot with a 4.3 out of 5 rating.
Pancit canton, bihon, palabok, and lomi were also in the ranking, placing as the top 31st, 33rd, 34th, and 38th best noodles, respectively.
On their website, TasteAtlas recommends trying pancit dishes at Nanay's Pancit Malabon, Three Sisters Restaurant, Liam's Lomi House, Mama Belen's Kitchenette, and Cafe Adriatico.
