Heads up, commuters: Here are the adjusted train schedules for the 2025 holidays
The Department of Transportation has released on social media the updated train schedules for the coming holidays.
For MRT-3, last trips on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) and New Year's Eve (Dec. 31) will be at 7:45 p.m. at North Avenue station and 8:23 p.m. at Taft Avenue station.
On Christmas (Dec. 25) and New Year (Jan. 1), trips start at 6:30 a.m. at North Avenue and Taft Avenue stations. The last trip on North Avenue will leave at 10:30 p.m. and 11:09 p.m. at Taft Avenue.
Normal operations will resume from Dec. 26 to 30, and starting Jan. 2.
The LRT-2, meanwhile, will have extended services starting Dec. 9. The last train from LRT-2 Antipolo Station will leave at 10:00 p.m., while the LRT-2 Recto Station train will depart at 10:30 p.m. This will also be the schedule on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
On Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), the LRT-2 will have a shortened service schedule. The last train from LRT-2 Antipolo Station will leave at 8:00 p.m., while the last train from LRT-2 Recto Station will depart at 8:30 p.m.
On New Year's Eve (Dec. 31), the last train from LRT-2 Antipolo Station will depart at 7:00 p.m. while at LRT-2 Recto Station, it will be at 7:30 p.m.
Regular operations will resume on Jan. 1.
The adjusted schedules at the LRT-1 have yet to be released.
