LOOK: Angel Locsin's lake house in Caliraya is the perfect escape from the busy city
Angel Locsin and Neil Arce gave a glimpse of their lake house in Caliraya, Laguna, which serves as their escape from the bustling metro.
The celebrity couple uploaded a video of their quick getaway to their simple and peaceful abode on YouTube last June 4.
Locsin bought the Caliraya home after falling in love with the man-made lake while shooting the General's Daughter in 2019.
"Nung nag-taping kami dito, gandang-ganda ako. Tapos parang gusto ko ng property dito. Parang sobrang peaceful, kumuha na ako," she said.
Their lake house is still in its early stages and the couple is still thinking of either renovating or selling it.
In the video, the couple showed how they don't have much furniture yet in the space and use air mattresses and cots for sleeping.
Locsin also recently bought a reclaimed wooden table made out of yakal wood.
The rustic property sits right beside the lake and features a spacious green landscape and a deck for outdoor cooking and hangouts. There's also a hammock for relaxing.
The best part? It provides the couple easy access to Caliraya lake for more rest and recreation.
“Ang sarap lang isipin kapag kailangan mo mag-recharge at ipahinga yung isip, we can always turn to nature,” Locsin said.
