More reasons to go #responsiblemalling at Robinsons Malls
To survive the pandemic year 2020-2021, people had to learn to pivot.
Chefs and restaurateurs are still looking for ways to fine tune the way they are selling, serving and delivering food.
Fashion designers/brands are either pivoting to protective clothing and loungewear, or resetting their business platform just to keep their businesses afloat.
And what about the country’s mighty malls?
“The latest buzzword in navigating the new norm is, indeed, ‘pivot,’” notes Arlene Magtibay, SVP & business unit general manager for Commercial Centers Division, Robinsons Land Corp. “At the start of the pandemic in 2020, Robinsons Malls quickly rolled out various initiatives to help both our customers and our tenant-partners.”
Among these were the introduction of pickup stations, tie-ups with delivery rider groups, especially in areas where the big aggregators are not present. And since most of us have been working and studying from home due to the government-imposed lockdowns, Robinsons Malls also introduced its personal shopper service—Robbie & Rosie.
“With Robbie & Rosie, you can stay safe at home because they will do the shopping for you,” enthuses Magtibay. “All these were geared towards the safety and convenience of customers, and augmenting sales of our retailers and food outlets.”
The pandemic has also heightened awareness of the need to take care of one’s health and wellbeing. People find joy in new hobbies such as gardening, baking, arts and crafts. They are eating healthy, too!
“Recognizing these lifestyle shifts, we launched ‘Locally Sourced: A Gardening and Fresh Produce Fair,’ which was rolled out in almost all the Robinsons Malls,” shares Magtibay.
And with more people opting for more active lifestyles, biking has become quite popular.
“So we put up Bicycle Parking and Repair Stations in all our malls. Also, as more people now prefer to dine outdoors; we set up al fresco dining areas in our malls’ gardens and open spaces,” Magtibay adds.
‘Safety Seal’ certified
But aside from the need to pivot, keeping the mall safe for its customers, staff and tenants remains a tall order for Robinsons Malls.
In fact, Robinsons Malls have recently been given the Safety Seal by the departments of Interior and Local Government, Health, Trade, Tourism and Labor.
The Safety Seal guarantees that Robinsons Malls are safe to the public and minimum public health standard measures are strictly set in place. This also gives shoppers peace of mind that they can go #responsiblemalling at Robinsons Malls anytime.
You can have your COVID-19 vaccination in the safety of Robinsons Malls, too. Committed to strengthen the fight against COVID-19, Robinsons Malls has 20 vaccination sites and counting. Just be sure to register for vaccination in your barangay.
And once your jab is done, you can get exclusive deals at partner shops/tenants by flashing your vaccination card. Ongoing until August 31, the promo is in partnership with Ingat Angat Tayong Lahat: Bakuna Benefits.
As part of its Lingkod Pinoy service, registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) has now been made even more accessible through the partnership of the Philippine Statistics Authority and Robinsons Malls.
Ready, Set, Shop!
As the pandemic slowly eases, Robinsons Malls give shoppers more reasons to shop and dine in their “happy place/s” as Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Magnolia and Robinsons Place Manila welcome their new partner-tenants and soon-to-open tenants.
These include Adidas, Adidas Stadium, Levi’s, Mr. Kimbop, Frankies, Pho24, Kraver’s Cloud Kitchen, Papermoon, Watami, El Polo Loco, Playbook, Overdoughs, Manam, Mesa, Nanyang, Honolulu Cafe and Texas Roadhouse Grill for Robinsons Place Manila.
Robinsons Magnolia recently opened Kee Wah Bakery, McDonald’s, Meet Fresh, Puffy’s Souffle Pancake, Le Sucre Lab, American Eagle and Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory and will soon welcome Santi’s Delicatessen, Cafe Breton, Nono’s, @Tokyo, Capital, Pretty Young Things and Uy Dental Clinic.
For Robinsons Galleria, Marugame Udon and Super50 recently opened and shoppers can look forward to incoming brands such as Four in Love, Dito, @Tokyo, Anta and Medical Depot.
Free parking awaits Robinsons Galleria shoppers. Just present your Go Rewards app or card and proof of purchase on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
“The central location of Robinsons Galleria, Magnolia and Manila is a strong attraction for a lot of retailers and F&B operators,” notes Magtibay. “These malls have excellent fundamentals and are well-loved by their loyal shoppers. Since we’re now under GCQ, we are confident that customers will go malling again and Robinsons Malls will always be their happy place.”
