Pop-up coffee shops worth checking out in the metro

Published Jul 25, 2022 3:27 pm

The great thing about pop-up cafes is the sense of connection they bring to the community.

Whether you’re up for some me-time or a friend hangout, there’s something sweet about being in an open space where you can see charming faces as you delight in just-brewed coffee and good food.

If that sounds great for you, you might want to pull up a cozy chair and get your caffeine fix at these pop-up coffeehouses in the metro.

The Coffee Academics

The Coffee Academïcs is now open in Robinsons Magnolia, offering a casual experience for mall shoppers in the north. The up-and-coming café gives a taste of its creativity and warm aesthetic that it’s been loved for since the launch of its first Philippine branch in Bonifacio Global City.

Among TCA’s signature latte offerings are the Jawa (P230/P240) and Agave (P210/P220).

Its unique food items are the cherry on top—from snacks like the Black Coconut Custard croissant (P140) to heavy meals like Chicken Saffron Paella (P520).

Because Coffee by Harlan + Holden

Because Coffee by Harlan + Holden has made its way to Power Plant Mall. This pop-up café features the same pleasing aesthetic with its BGC branch, but this one is more on the casual side as it’s nestled right in the middle of mall stores.

When you’re in the area for a shopping spree, drop by and indulge in their irresistible drinks like Sea Salt Latte (P130), Long Black (P100), and Matcha Green Tea Cortado (P100).

Coffee Street Pop-Up

When it comes to coffee, do you want a little bit of everything? There's a Coffee Street Pop-Up at the Mega Fashion Hall, which will be up until July 31.

Five brands, including Yardstick, El Kapitan, Sspace Coffee, Key Coffee, and Pickup Coffee, have come together for the affair aimed at connecting people through this much-loved beverage in different variants. Instagrammable spots and promos await!
