Bank Bar to close permanently after 10 years
Bank Bar is closing soon.
The top shelf "drinking den" by The Moment Group on Thursday said that the establishment will be shut its doors on Dec. 27.
"Ten years ago, we opened a secret door that led to countless cocktail-filled evenings. We set out to create a hidden sanctuary that felt both exclusive and alive. While it is the end of an era, reaching this milestone feels like the natural point to conclude the Bank Bar story," it wrote on Instagram, thanking customers for "being the most essential part of an unforgettable decade."
"Before we say goodbye, we hope you stop by for one last drink and help us toast to the moments that made this ride unforgettable," they added.
Since 2015, Bank Bar has been BGC’s best-kept secret for the "retired party crowd."
Hidden behind a 7-Eleven stockroom curtain, this sign-less speakeasy ditches the loud music and dance floors in favor of a massive drink library and a relaxed atmosphere.
