Cathay Pacific offers 11% discount and another 11% off on select flights for 11.11

Dreaming of your next vacation? The 11.11 sale isn’t exclusive to e-commerce apps, as Hong Kong’s flag carrier Cathay Pacific is offering promos to several destinations in Asia and Europe.
On its website, the airline company said that until Nov. 13, passengers may enjoy an 11% discount plus another 11% on select economy and business class flights.
Included in the sale are destinations like Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Seoul (Northeast Asia); Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Paris, Zurich (Europe); Bangalore, Dhaka, Kathmandu, Mumbai (South Asia); Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Auckland (Australia and New Zealand), departing from Manila and Cebu.
The travel period is until June 30, 2024.
Cathay noted that the rates, which range from $200 (P11,000) to $2,798 (P156,000), are on a per-person basis and already include all applicable taxes and surcharges.
Cathay members may also use the code “PH1111” to get 1,111 bonus miles with their booking, which they can spend on future flights and rewards. The airline noted that it’s limited to the first 110 transactions.
Other promos include an 11% discount on select premium lifestyle products on Cathay Shop until Nov. 11, as well as an 11% discount on hotel and car rental with Cathay Holidays via the code “AH3LWNOV11” until Nov. 14.
It has also partnered with HSBC for a travel fair at HSBC Bonifacio Global City. Clients may enjoy benefits like three months with zero installments upon booking with their card during the travel fair, a Buy 1 Get 1 free ticket to Hong Kong (subject to availability), and a free flight upgrade on their next trip upon signing up for Business Plus.
Other airlines are also taking part in one of the biggest sale events of the year. Cebu Pacific has an ongoing PISO seat sale, while AirAsia is offering flights to select destinations for as low as P91. Jetstar Asia, meanwhile, has launched one-way base fares to international spots starting at P2,811.
