Bakehouse is coming to Hong Kong airport
No need to head into Hong Kong just for your Bakehouse fix. Whether you are on a quick layover or want to grab fresh baked goods right before your flight home, you will soon be able to get Bakehouse right at the Hong Kong International Airport.
Bakehouse by Chef Grégoire Michaud shared on social media that they are opening a branch inside the Hong Kong airport later this year.
"Your favourite carry-on just got an upgrade. Hong Kong Airport. Q4 2026," they teased in the caption.
Bakehouse first opened in Wanchai in 2018, later launching its iconic Soho branch. They’re famous for European-style artisanal pastries—especially their viral Sourdough Egg Tart, classic croissants, and sourdough bread.
To date, the bakery has expanded to eight locations across Hong Kong. For those looking to stay over for a meal, the Wanchai and Sha Tin branches offer full sit-down service, while The Peak location serves up its famous pastries in a bakery-and-cafe setting.
