Wilcon Depot expands footprint in Northern Luzon, opens new La Union branch
Wilcon Depot continues to strengthen its presence in Northern Luzon with the opening of a new branch in Barangay San Martin, Bacnotan, La Union, on Oct. 24. The expansion brings the brand’s comprehensive range of home improvement and construction solutions closer to the community.
Wilcon’s Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Rosemarie Bosch-Ong, led the inauguration alongside representatives from the local government. In her address, Bosch-Ong reaffirmed the company’s commitment to growth and innovation. “We refuse to remain stagnant in our success. Our company and our clients continue to grow together, to find better and more dynamic products that cater to every need imaginable in the mind’s eye of the Filipino builder. We welcome changing tastes and needs and respond to these immediately. No builder’s dream will remain at a standstill. You imagine it. We will find ways to make these dreams a reality,” she said.
The new Bacnotan store marks Wilcon’s second big-box outlet in La Union, following the success of its Bauang branch. The expansion serves as a direct response to the growing demand for accessible and reliable home-building materials in the province. For many residents in Bacnotan and neighboring municipalities, sourcing quality construction supplies often required traveling to distant towns. The new store is expected to alleviate that challenge and make home building more convenient and efficient for the local community.

Wilcon’s newest branch aligns with the company’s long-standing mission to provide quality building and home improvement solutions to every Filipino household. Beyond offering trusted local and international brands such as Heim, Alphalux, Rubi, Grohe, Kohler, Pozzi, Franke, Hills, and P.Tech, the Bacnotan store brings with it the signature Wilcon experience: interactive showrooms, expert consultations at the Design Hub, a curated Tile Studio, and the ABCDE Lounge—a dedicated space for architects, builders, contractors, designers, and engineers.

In addition to serving as a retail destination, the Bacnotan branch is envisioned to be a hub for community learning and engagement. Wilcon plans to organize events and training sessions aimed at helping local professionals and aspiring builders gain knowledge on sustainable construction practices, cost-efficient building methods, and modern design trends.
Wilcon will also pursue its goal to empower communities to build sustainably. This aligns with Bacnotan’s vision to become an agri-industrial and tourism hub with resilient, environment-friendly citizens. Wilcon believes that its presence will help boost the town’s development considerably and improve the quality of life of its residents.
With the opening of Wilcon Depot Bacnotan, the company moves one step closer to its vision of making home-building solutions accessible to every Filipino household.
