“Whether it’s for employee recognition, customer appreciation, festive gifts, sales incentive, or company events, getting them an IKEA Gift Card means they get to pick whatever they want, whenever they want to,” the Swedish home furnishing brand wrote in a Facebook post.

The gift cards can be used to purchase items from the IKEA Philippines store, restaurant, or Swedish food market. “As of now, it’s for business only. But once we are open, it will be available to individual customers as well,” marketing manager Jasmin Cruz told PhilSTAR L!fe.

Expected to be its largest outlet in the world, IKEA PH is set to open within the year at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, nine weeks after the launch of its online store.
