McDonald’s Green and Good store in Mandaluyong fuels cyclists culture with bike-friendly features
The newest McDonald’s Green and Good store in Shaw Blvd., Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong City isn’t just built with sustainability in mind—it was also designed to cater to the growing population of cyclists in the metro by offering convenient bike-friendly features.
Aside from supporting the riding public, its Green and Good stores allow the QSR giant to test and learn sustainable practices with its green-building construction and utility-efficient solutions.
The new store features a Bike and Dine area where cyclists can comfortably enjoy their favorite meals in the company of their bikes. The innovative outdoor dining area features racks integrated onto the dining ledge itself, ensuring bikes remain upright, safe, and secure.
McDonald’s also partnered with eSakay—Meralco’s green mobility company—in the deployment of a public EV Charging Station for two- and three-wheeled EVs. eSakay's e-Charging Station at the Green and Good store in Mandaluyong City is the second McDonald’s store to offer this feature. The first is in its U.N. Del Pilar branch.
The charging stations are coin-operated and can cater to two units at a time. As part of this initiative, customers can simply plug in their e-Bike and e-Scooter for a minimal fee of P1 for five minutes' worth of charging; P5 for 25 minutes, and P10 for a 50-minute charge.

The new store also has a Bike Repair Station replete with basic tools cyclists would need to carry out basic bike repair or maintenance. Other stores equipped with the Bike Repair Station are McDonald’s stores in Alabang West, McDonald’s P.Oliveros in Antipolo City, and McDonald’s Clark Gate in Pampanga.
McDonald’s Green and Good store in Shaw Boulevard, Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong City is now open for 24 hours for dine-in, take-out, ride-thru, and McDelivery.
Under its M Safe program, McDonald’s ensures the safety of its employees with 100 percent of its crew and managers in NCR now fully vaccinated.
Along with the acquisition of Safety Seal Certifications, now in more than 70 percent of all restaurants nationwide, the QSR giant assured that they will continue to offer safe, feel-good experiences for customers.
