Jollibee Group has landed in TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies of 2026 list.

Described by TIME as a "plucky fried-chicken joint," Jollibee joins the likes of Alibaba Group, Boeing, Netflix, Ralph Lauren, and Uniqlo in the annual ranking's 2026 list. Although the companies on the list belong to different industries, according to TIME, one characteristic unites them: "The ability to tell a story compelling enough that others will follow."

Jollibee is rightfully pleased with the distinction. Jollibee Group's Global President and CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong, in a press release, celebrated the various teams within the company "who bring our purpose of spreading joy through superior taste to life every day."

The companies in the list are classified into six categories: Titans, Leaders, Disrupters, Innovators, Pioneers, and Impact Awards. Jollibee is among the Disrupters.

According to TIME, the brand, which launched its first franchising program in the US, has plans to open 350 stores across North America, in addition to the 100 stores that are currently in operation. Per Tanmantiong, Jollibee Group is aiming to add 1,200 more globally.

Despite its steady growth abroad, Tanmantiong said the brand's Filipino identity remains the "heartbeat of our global journey," making it "absolutely vital" that the company stay true to its roots.

In addition to its distinction among the most influential companies of the year, Jollibee was also named one of TIME's 10 Most Influential Food and Drink Companies of 2026

Aside from its flagship brand, Jollibee Group has control of 19 other restaurants, including Chowking, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Burger King Philippines, and Smashburger. The company now operates over 10,400 stores and cafés in 33 countries.

In February 2026, consultancy firm Brand Finance listed Jollibee as its 18th most valuable restaurant brand globally.
