VegFest Pilipinas 2025 is happening on March 29-30. Here's what to expect
Love plant-based and vegan offerings? Here's something you might want to add to your weekend plans.
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, VegFest 2025—the first and biggest vegan festival in the Philippines—is taking over Paseo de Roxas from March 29 to 30, from 9 a.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. on Sunday, until 9 p.m.
Presented by Makati Street Meet, the two-day event brings together "delicious vegan eats, eco-friendly finds, and a community that celebrates sustainable living."
Several merchants selling plant-based and vegan food items will be there, including Shirley’s Just Vegan Silvanas, which will offer sweet treats; Sagana, which will offer locally made coconut-based butter; Green Bar, which will offer their VegFest-exclusive Pierogies & Pupusas that's best paired with booze; and Vegan Bytes, which will offer stuffed-crust cheeseburger pizza, among others.
There will also be eco-friendly buys like beauty products such as 2-in-1 Shamcon Bar, hair oil serum, hair mask, and more from Verde Klik.
Need to relax? You can also score an exclusive discount at Kwentong Dagat, a vegan resort in Zabales, when you visit their booth as well as participate in a breathwork exercise by Donna Francisco.
Adding more fun to the affair is good music by local artists Pi-Four, Groove Setters, and Drum Circle.
Entrance is free, but everyone is highly encouraged to donate P100, which will go to VegFest's chosen beneficiaries PETA and Cats of Legaspi Village.
Make sure to bring your essentials like cash, a hand fan, a power bank, and reusable wares like cups, containers, tumblers, utensils, and straws. You may also bring your furbabies with you as the festival is pet-friendly.
