Celebrate Grandparents' Day at Ayala Malls

Ayala Malls celebrates Grandparents' Day this Sunday, Sept. 10 with a series of activities and treats that will surely put a smile on our grannies' faces.
Highlight is the "Smile Corner," a photo wall where grandkids can create lasting memories with their beloved grandparents.
Grandkids and grandparents can snap photos together, capturing their beautiful bond against a backdrop that resonates with nostalgia. Participants are encouraged to share these treasured snapshots on social media with the event hashtags #iloveayalamalls and #grandparentsdayatAyalaMalls. By doing so, they can unlock a world of special treats, including complimentary movie tickets, store GC’s, coffee mugs, sweet treats, and other gifts. Participants can choose to have their photos printed out and personalize them with craft materials.
Fun activities for the whole family
Ayala Malls has a plethora of on-ground events lined up for grandparents and their families on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tai chi session. Join the tai chi session. Grandparents, along with their families, can bask in the tranquility of this ancient practice, promoting wellness and relaxation.
Interactive face painting activity. Unleash your grandparents' inner child through interactive face painting.
Bake it. Decorate bread, cookies, donuts, and cupcakes wiith lolo and lola. These delectable treats also serve as heartfelt gifts to express your gratitude to them.
For grandpawrents. Some malls will also be celebrating senior fur friends. Fur moms and dads who bring their senior dogs aged eight years and up can receive a special treat when they present their Pet ID or vet records.
Have a relaxing massage while resting on a SILYA. Ayala Malls is proud to partner with SILYA (Sa Iyo Lolo at Lola Yantok Aming Alay), an advocacy that honors senior citizens by providing rocking chairs in public places for their comfort and convenience. SILYA founder and advocate Loreto Alcala will join the celebration. Alcala used to lament the lack of seating facilities for senior citizens in many public places.
Lolo and lola can also enjoy a relaxing message or physical therapy session.
Fun games, workshops and shows. Join pick-a-prize games and raffles to win exciting prizes, Terrarium workshops, kundiman performances, and song numbers from local established senior artists.
