Classic with a kick: McDonald's brings back its spicy menu this September 22

They say that eating spicy food can trigger all sorts of responses from head to toe. Some would feel a burning sensation on their mouths and lips, others would get a runny nose, while some sweat and make you feel warmer. That's why there is nothing more satisfying on a cold, gloomy day than having some spicy comfort food to warm up your stomach.

If you're a fan of hot and peppery food, McDonald's has something for you.

McDonald's Philippines announced that they are giving their classic chicken variants a hot kick with the return of the McSpicy, Spicy McNuggets, and Spicy Chicken McDo.

The Spicy Chicken McDo (P86 for solo meal) is a spiced version of their famous Chicken McDo, while the McSpicy Burger (P171) is a thick, crispy, and spiced fried chicken cutlet sandwich. And finally, there's the Spicy McNuggets (P145 for six-piece, P226 for ten pieces, and P231 for twenty pieces), which is coated and infused with dried peppers. Like the original McNuggets, these also come with BBQ sauce.

The Spicy Chicken McDo, McSpicy Burger, and Spicy McNuggets will be available nationwide starting Sept.22 for dine-in, take-out, drive-thru, and McDelivery.
