Another famous lechon store is offering the much-hyped lechon baka starting July 1

The hype surrounding lechon baka is still very much alive.

Andok’s Lechon Baka made the rounds online early this month as it joined Dokito Frito in its list of bestsellers. This time, Rico’s Lechon has decided to follow its lead by introducing its own version of the lechon offering in not one but two variants.

The newest addition to the menu, which will be available starting Thursday, July 1, is quite similar to Andok’s. Aside from its sinful parts and smoky aroma, each order also comes with a homemade spicy vinegar concoction crafted to balance its overall taste.

What makes Rico’s Lechon Baka different, though, is it's available in two options. The original flavor is priced at P350 (junior size good for 1-2 persons) and P1,350 (fiesta size good for 6-8 persons), while the spicy one costs P380/P1,460.

Here's an added bonus: a frozen version will soon be available in grocery stores nationwide. No definite date has been set for its release, but we're one with beef lovers who are anticipating to get creative and cook lechon baka the way they like it in the comfort of their own homes.

Happy eating!
