Batangas' famous Ijo Bakery opens first Metro Manila branch

Great news, Manila foodies! You no longer have to make the trip to Batangas to get your fix—Ijo Bakery is officially open in the metro starting June 5!

While the bakery previously catered to Metro Manila clients through limited delivery slots, this new branch marks their first permanent home in Molito Lifestyle Center in Alabang.

Established during the pandemic by Michelin-trained pastry chef Joaquin Katigbak, Ijo Bakery has solidified its footprint as a premier destination for high-quality croissants and viennoiserie.

Katigbak initially launched the brand in his hometown of Lipa, Batangas, as a solo, online-only venture with weekly pre-orders.

He then expanded his brick-and-mortar store in Lipa with two more branches in Batangas City and Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Ijo Bakery in Molito Lifestyle Center is reportedly on trial operations and is open until 6 p.m. daily.
