Japanese coffee chain % Arabica to reopen in BGC this July

Good news, coffee lovers! % Arabica will be back in BGC this month with a “futuristic” space.

The Japanese coffee brand gave a glimpse of its soon-to-open store in a Facebook post on Wednesday, July 19. “Manila, we are back! We are ready to make a fresh start for % Philippines project with our new partner.” 

% Arabica tapped spatial design consultancy firm no.10 for the project. “With a focus on the future of % Philippines, we designed a futuristic space resembling a spaceship,” it said. 

“We set up a roasting room at the entrance to provide our signature custom roasting service,” the coffee chain shared, adding that they “would be delighted if customers could come and purchase coffee beans for home consumption weekly.” 

First look at % Arabica's Mitsukoshi store

The grand opening of % Arabica BGC will take place on Friday, July 21. The new store is located on the second floor of Mitsukoshi BGC.

Arabica Coffee suddenly closed down its three branches in the Philippines in January 2022. It later explained that its franchise with its then partner ended, but noted that it has found a new one and will continue to expand in the Philippines.
