The ber months are here, and you know what that means: it's time to save some space for hearty meals and good booze.

From Shake Shack's spicy good buffalo-flavored chicken menu and Midori Clark's mouthwatering seafood buffet to luxurious alcohol from Don Julio and Louix XIII, here are the must-try releases this month.

Shake Shack' Buffalo Chicken menu

Another store launching a mouthwatering menu this season is none other than Shake Shack.

Be prepared as the saucy, tangy, and spicy Buffalo Chicken menu includes the crispy Buffalo Chicken (P345), Buffalo Chicken Bites (P245 for 6pcs; P355 for 10 pcs), and the Buffalo Spiced Cheese Fries (P235). Available in all Shacks for a limited time only.

The world-class deluxe hotel brings a new addition to its already luxurious Chinese menu. Joining the a la carte specialties are an array of enticing appetizers, dim sum, entrees, and desserts.

For starters, there's the Soft shell crab with mango salsa and sweet chili in bao bun—a must-try for those who want something light. The Truffle duck dumpling is also a revelation for fans of this rich flavor.

Anyone who's looking for traditional Chinese tasting dishes must try the Scallop with broccoli and XO sauce, Sichuan style poached beef tenderloin with Chinese cabbage and bok choy, and Deep-fried spareribs with Chang Kong vinegar sauce.

The Wok-fried beef tenderloin in black pepper and taro cream in claypot is a must-try for those with adventurous taste buds.

Other entrees include Crispy shrimp ball with cheese, Fried prawn ‘Peking style’, Sliced chicken in black pepper sauce, Taiwanese-style chicken in claypot, Crispy stuffed eggplant in sweet spicy sauce, and Deep-fried crispy golden shiitake and enoki mushrooms.

For the rice and noodle dishes, there is Seafood rice pop in clay pot.

For cocktails, indulge in fancy sips of the Yin Yang Cocktail, Lapsang Cooler Cocktail, and the Bloom Cocktail.

Delight yourself during the mid-autumn festival with New World Makati Hotel’s selection of mooncakes, crafted by the skilled chefs at the Jasmine restaurant.

There are four well-loved varieties to choose from, namely Red Bean, Red Lotus, White Lotus, and Five Kernels. These delicacies pay homage to the festival’s spirit of unity and gratitude, and tradition of gathering to celebrate under the glowing moon. The mooncakes retail for P1,488 net for 2 pcs; a set of four for P2,488 net; and a box of six mooncakes with a bottle of wine for P4,488 net.

Midori Clark Hotel and Casino’s Southeast Asian buffet

You know it's going to be good when you discover an affordable buffet that offers a good selection of unlimited seafood. Midori Clark Hotel and Casino is offering a Southeast Asian buffet this month featuring an endless selection of crab legs, mussels, shrimp, fish and lobsters! Yes, you can enjoy as many grilled or baked lobsters as you want for the price of P2,500+.

If you're really not into seafood, there's still something here for you. The buffet also features a roast and dim sum section where you can fulfill your Hong Kong cuisine cravings. There's also a carving station for roast duck, where a server can prepare hoisin duck wraps in front of you.

For those who want a hot bowl of soup, you can create your own noodle soup from the shabu-shabu section.

Don Julio 1942 lands in Manila


Don Julio 1942 Tequila came to the Philippines with a promise: to “redefine the art of celebrations.”
