Pack your bags, Royal Air resumes Clark operations with trips to and from Hong Kong
Visiting Hong Kong during the holidays is always a great idea. The weather is cool, the shopping districts are alive, the food scene is vibrant, and for Disney fans, there's always something to enjoy—like The World of Frozen will open in Disneyland in November. So, if you're planning with the whole family to the region soon, you might want to try this low-cost airline.
Royal Air Philippines is set to resume its operations at Clark International Airport in Pampanga this month, bringing back affordable flights to Hong Kong.
In a press release, Royal Air said direct flights between Clark and Hong Kong will resume on Sunday, Oct. 7.
There will only be one flight that will take place daily at the time being.
The estimated time of departure from Clark is at 9 a.m., while the estimated time of arrival is at 10:55 a.m.
The estimated time of departure from Hong Kong is at 8:15 p.m., while the estimated time of arrival to Clark is at 10:10 p.m.
Fare rules
The one-way base fare starts at P2,160 and can go as high as P5,460, excluding fees and surcharges.
Each fare is allowed with up to a maximum of 3 bags with a total of 7kg for hand carry with dimensions of up to 56cm x 36cm x 23cm. You can also buy additional baggage at P300 for 10kg, P400 for 20kg, and P500 for 30kg.
Premium seats are also available at P250, while seats by the exit doors are at P300 per flight.
Rebooking, cancellation, and refund for the flight are allowed, provided that it must be done at least four hours before the flight. Change fees, no-show fees, and fare differences are also applicable. However, if the passenger is a no-show, it will result in the forfeiture of their ticket for the said flight.
Name changes are not allowed, so make sure to double check the spelling before confirming the flight. Corrections are only allowed to correct either the first name or last name until 24 hours before departure time.
