Club Intramuros Golf Course to open as recreational space on Sundays starting Nov. 23
Looking for a place to relax or exercise on Sundays? Club Intramuros Golf Course will open as a recreational space every Sunday starting Nov. 23.
Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority announced on Facebook that the golf course will become an open park for recreational activities on Sundays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“Ito ang isa sa mga ambag ng TIEZA para sa programa ng pamahalaan to promote family bonding and spend quality time together sa pamamagitan ng pamamasyal sa Intramuros golf course,” TIEZA Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid said in a statement.
Regular golf activities will be held on weekdays and Saturdays.
Among the activities you can do at the golf course are walking or jogging on designated cart paths, stretching, yoga, and having family or friendly gatherings in specified open grassy areas.
Pets are welcome, as long as they are on a leash and owners clean up after them to maintain a tidy area.
TIEZA said that access to specialized golf areas will remain limited to protect the course and ensure everyone’s safety.
Visitors are encouraged to maintain a peaceful environment, refrain from disruptive behavior, and follow community guidelines at all times.
