Love The Bear? Here's some good news for you!
The comedy-drama series has been renewed for another season and is set to return in 2024, FX Entertainment—the production company behind the show—announced.
In a statement, FX president Nick Grad called the streaming offering a "cultural phenomenon" as he pointed out how it "wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two."
"We're so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach," he said.
Grad added that they are "looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear."
Set in Chicago, The Bear follows chef Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto (played by White) as it "fights to transform a sandwich shop alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew," according to Disney+. Among the issues it tackles are mental health, substance abuse, family trauma, and the challenges that come with being in the hospitality service industry.
The first season of The Bear bagged 13 Emmy nominations.
