Good news, fans of Jinny's Kitchen! The much-loved variety program has been renewed for another season.

According to a report by Korean entertainment site Soompi, a representative of K-channel tvN confirmed to media outlets on Thursday, Feb. 15 that the cast and crew of Jinny's Kitchen have started working on its second installment. The source, however, refused to disclose further details "for the sake of [a] smooth filming."

"Please wait until the new season premieres to learn about the cast lineup as well," they added.

The confirmation was a response to SPOTV News' report, which came out earlier in the day. It stated that the Jinny's Kitchen team is set to go to Iceland in March to film for Season 2, where cast members will reportedly put their "tight teamwork" on display.

The unscripted show is a spin-off series of the hit reality show Youn's Kitchen.

Jinny's Kitchen first aired on tvN in February 2023, showing hilarious moments of the cast known as "restaurant employees"—including CEO Lee Seo Jin, director Jung Yu Mi, manager Park Seo Joon, intern Choi Woo Shik, and BTS' V—as they take part in games and exercises to improve their teamwork and communication. The kitchen was launched to introduce Korean street food to their passionate customers.

In November, it released a special on Prime Video dubbed Jinny's Kitchen: Team Building. It featured a catch-up session among the cast after previously managing a Korean snack restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico.
