Razer launches Pikachu-themed wireless earbuds with poké ball charging case
There are an array of wireless earbuds in the market right now. Sure, you could always choose the Apple AirPods Pro for P14,990, but if you are a huge Pokémon fan and you are on the lookout for another Pokémon merchandise to show-off or include in your collection, then this new wireless earbuds from gaming equipment company Razer will definitely be music to your ears.
In a report by Nintendo Soup, Razer, in collaboration with the Pokémon Company, will be launching a Pikachu-themed wireless earbuds in China on April 16, 2020.
It reported that the yellow-coated earbuds, which sports tiny Pikachus on the back, features a 13mm driver unit for “high quality and low bass music.” It also supports noise-cancellation, IPX4 grade water resistance and can automatically be paired via Bluetooth.
The earbuds reportedly has a 3-hour battery life but can be recharged five times through its charging case for a total of 15 hours.
But the main selling point of Razer’s latest Pokémon merchandize isn’t really about the earbuds, but the poké ball charging case that comes along with it. Although it can’t house a real Pikachu for obvious reasons, the poké ball case - that also features a glowing front button just like in the game franchise- is more than enough for diehard Pokémon fans to shell out $120 (around P6,000).
For now, the wireless earbuds will only be available in China. But we’ll keep you posted once it arrives in the Philippine market.
