LISTEN: Ed Sheeran releases electro comeback ‘Bad Habits’

A new good habit.

Ed Sheeran has released his comeback single Bad Habits today, June 25. The song serves as Sheeran's solo comeback since 2017's Divide and 2019's collaborative album No. 6 Collaborations Project.

Steering away from his usual ballads, Bad Habits sees the singer introducing an upbeat electric era as he chronicles the bad decisions he's made under the influence of alcohol and a busy nightlife.

"My bad habits lead to late nights, endin' alone / Conversations with a stranger I barely know / Swearin' this will be the last but it probably won't I got nothin' left to lose, or use, or do" the 30-year belts under the song's pulsating beat.

The Grammy-award-winning artist also released an accompanying music video with the single, where he's seen enjoying a night out as a vampire, or rather glampire, donned in a bright pink suit, glittery eyeshadow, and sharp fangs. Sheeran has been teasing new music as early as June 3 of this year.
