Before he was a Marvel superhero, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu used to pose for stock photos. Thanks to fans on social media, these photos are getting unearthed—and Liu is in on the fun, too!
The Chinese-Canadian actor shared on Twitter that he used to model to pay off debts and make ends meet. His stock photos have popped up in ads, websites, magazines, and even accounting books.

He shared on Twitter that he was amused finding his photo on an accounting book. "Call @Alanis Morissette because I just died from irony. I did a stock photo shoot in 2014 and it ended up here. I used to be an accountant," Liu tweeted in 2017.
The stock image king tweeted the old images again on Monday, writing "Me laughing at the people who thought we'd flop."
