Mark your calendars and gear up, Pinoy Runners!

Running Man Philippines is set to arrive on television screens on September 3, according to GMA Network, the producer of the localized South Korean reality show.

The announcement, released by the network on social media on August 6, said that its newest game show will air on the GMA Weekend Primetime slot every Saturday and Sunday.

“Don't Walk, Run! Malapit na ang WORLD PREMIERE ng #RunningManPH! Excited na ba kayo? Kami rin! 😏,” the caption wrote. “#RunningManPH, tatakbo na ngayong September 3, 2022 sa GMA Weekend Primetime! 🏃‍♂️”

The network disclosed the collaboration with the Korean network Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) through the show’s Instagram account on May 20, followed by the unveiling of its Filipino cast members on May 27.

The Philippine version of South Korea’s hit game show will star Mikael Daez, Glaiza De Castro, Ruru Madrid, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales, Kokoy De Santos, and Angel Guardian.

On July 6, the game show’s Instagram page said that the cast members had begun filming in South Korea.

The video teaser on August 7 showcased some of the clever games and outrageous challenges from the original South Korean game show clips.
