The Philippine adaptation of the South Korean series will hit the streaming service this March, Viu Philippines announced on Instagram.

"Keep your eyes peeled! We are about to let you in on ABS-CBN Studios and Viu's highly anticipated collaboration project for 2024," the caption for the post read.

The streamer also gave a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show as well as stills of Kim and Paulo as Secretary Kim and Lee Young-joon, respectively. As the video ends, a poster of the upcoming series was shown with the line "Coming this March 2024."

The Philippine iteration of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim will also star Jake Cuenca, Janice De Belen, Rominick Sarmenta, Angeline Quinto, Pepe Herrera, Franco Laurel, Yves Flores, Gillian Vicencio, Kaori Oinuma, JC Alcantara, Cai Cortez, Phi Palmos, Kat Galang, Brian Sy, and the special participation of Kim Won-Shik.

The 2018 South Korean series is based on a novel by Jung Kyung-yoon and later serialized into a webtoon. It follows Lee Young-joon, originally played by Park Seo-joon, a vice chairman of a major corporation who does whatever he can to keep his highly capable secretary Kim Mi-so, originally played by Park Min-young, who wants to resign after nine years.

Kim and Paulo last worked together for the Prime Video series Linlang.
