Meet the first models of the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is back, and the first list of models ready to put on their wings is finally here!
The show is set for Oct. 15, and the initial lineup has already generated serious buzz among fans. On Instagram, the lingerie brand posted a video featuring the first six models for this year's runway with the brand's signature black text that read: "The secret is out."
It then revealed familiar VS angels such as Adriana Lima, Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Joan Smalls, Lily Aldridge, and Yumi Nu, all wearing black lingerie and fluffy white angel wings.
Brazilian supermodel Lima, who bid goodbye to her VS wings in 2018, put them back on for the 2024 edition of the highly anticipated show. She made her VS debut in 1999 and walked for the brand a total of 18 times.
Consani, on the other hand, made history last year as the first transgender woman to walk the runway for the lingerie brand. During the show, she strutted the catwalk in VS' Sequin Shimmer Bra Top and High-Waist Short Set paired with timeless wings featuring fabric constructions.
Yai, the South Sudanese-American model known for being the second Black supermodel after Naomi Campbell to open a Prada show, is making a much-anticipated return. She previously graced the 2024 VS runway in a flamboyant pink, feather-like skirt and striking silver wings.
Also back for the show is Smalls, a former VS Angel who walked the runway from 2011 to 2016. While Aldridge didn't join the 2024 lineup, her return is a welcome one, having previously strutted the runway from 2009 to 2017.
This year also marks a major debut: Nu. The model made history in 2022 as the first plus-size model of Asian-American descent to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 (PH time) with its first-ever all-women lineup.
Taking place at the Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York, the show featured some of the biggest names in the modeling industry, including Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Barbara Palvin, among others.
It also saw the return of Tyra Banks on the same catwalk after nearly 20 years.
Aside from iconic looks, there were also showstopping performances by none other than BLACKPINK's Lisa, Tyla, and Cher.
