Ice Cream by Blackpink and Selena Gomez

Bubble Pop! by Hyuna

Solo artist Hyuna shows why she’s one of the sexiest women in K-Pop with her debut track Bubble Pop. It’s one of those songs that’s perfect to start the day on a brighter note.

Party by Girls’ Generation

It’s been six years since the “Nation’s Girl Group” Girls’ Generation released Party, but it still reminds us of the fun of summer. Since partying is a thing of the past for now, take a cue from the girl group and grab your lemon soju, tequila, or mojito (when the liquor ban is lifted, of course).

1000% by Summer Wish (Produce 48)

This bright track is the perfect way to spend your imaginary walk on the beach with a lover. Fun fact: this song is actually part of the concept evaluation portion of the survival reality show Produce 48 in 2018. It’s performed by IZ*ONE’s Minju and Chaeyeon, AKB48’s Shitao Miu and Miyazaki Miho, and AKB48 graduate Goto Moe.

Remember by APink

If you haven’t gone on a cruise, perhaps Remember by APink can show how it feels. This song brings me back to the time I was obsessed with bubblegum pop songs, which used to be the girl group’s signature sound.

Island by Winner

Summer festivals are not returning anytime soon and it’s a big bummer. Perhaps, listening to Island can bring you back to the time when dancing in your best Coachella-inspired outfit was a thing.

Love U by Chungha

Are you looking for an excuse to wear your best swimsuit at home? No problem. Just put Love U on repeat and bring back the feeling of dancing at the beach with your friends.

Red Flavor by Red Velvet

Don’t call yourself a K-Pop fan if you don’t know about this bop! Red Velvet’s fifth EP The Red Summer was filled with songs perfect for summer—Red Flavor is one of them. It’s one of those songs that just get better with every listen.

Touch My Body by Sistar

Touch My Body is one of the reasons why Sistar is known as the “summer queens” of K-Pop. This track is catchy, sexy, and a perfect way to describe the group’s sexy image. If you need an excuse to flirt with your quaran-fling, this song can do the trick.

Hot Summer by f(x)

Hot Summer actually brings me back to my high school days when I fell in love with f(x). It’s a slight shift from the girl group’s funky image while showing off their fresh side. Fun fact: this track is actually a remake of German group Monrose’s 2007 song of the same name.

View by SHINee

SHINee is known for being “concept kings,” and View is no different. It’s the perfect song to listen to if you want to get moving. This song was written by the group’s main vocalist Jonghyun.

Bummed about your summer plans taking a backseat this season? Same. Cheer yourself up with this upbeat summer anthem that talks about making precious memories with a lover.

Ko Ko Bop by EXO

This song shows off EXO’s ability to adapt to various concepts. Of course, who can forget Kai’s powerful moves or Kyungsoo, Baekhyun and Chen’s sexy vocals? This song was so iconic that it gave birth to the “Ko Ko Bop Challenge” done by K-Pop fans worldwide. Even Vice Ganda, Bernadette Sembrano, Ted Failon, and Noli De Castro joined in.

Starry Night by Mamamoo

Taking a walk on the beach during a cool, summer night is worth missing. And Starry Night will remind you of that feeling. This song features a chill side of Mamamoo’s usual R&B- and jazz-inspired image which they pull off so well.
